We like to think that our passion for fresh, high quality and locally sourced produce shines through in everything we do. Our bakers, butchers and brewers are all based in Sheffield and the surrounding areas to give you a true, authentic taste of Yorkshire.
Allergens
We know how important it is to provide you with accurate allergen information in a clear and easy way. So, we are trialling a new way to display our allergen information to you within our venues. This is a pilot so if you do have an allergy or intolerance, please speak to a member of staff to identify yourself and confirm suitable dishes.

Nestled in the heart of campus, the University Arms boasts a large beer garden – perfect for drinks and BBQs in the Summer.
What's On?
From open mic nights, to daily food specials and rotating cask beers, there’s something a little bit different every day at the Arms.
Mondays
Every Monday use our 3/4 size snooker table for free. Ask at the bar for details of our 1 hour bookable slots. The table is available to hire on a first come first serve basis during the rest of the week for just £5 an hour.
Tuesdays
Join us from 9pm every Tuesday during term time for the Arms pub quiz, hosted by QuizSoc - with plenty of bar tabs up for grabs!
Wednesdays
Calling singers, musicians, poets et al. Each Wednesday during term time join us from 8pm for our weekly open mic night.
Thursdays
Join us on Thursday evenings with the Darts Society, or grab a set from the bar any other time to have a game.
Every Day
Check out our blackboards for daily specials - home cooked meals, loaded Yorkshire pudding, sandwiches, wraps, fish & chips, stone baked pizzas and more.
Room Hire
We never charge for room hire if you are eating and drinking. Contact us using the details below or pop into the bar to arrange a booking for a birthday, leaving party or other occasion.
